Jens Christian Westergaard

Arne Stornes

Jens Christian was born in the countryside outside of Bergen in West Norway, in a family of three, his father was manager of a Shell oil refinery. After technical education and working as a seaman, he in the beginning of the 1940s moved to Stavanger and eventually started working as a planner and then chief of production on the production shop "Maskinhuset". He continued working there till he was retired in middle of the 1980s.

Jens Christian was a very charming, intellectual, social, intentive and artistic man.

Arne was born outside of Steinkjer in central Norway, in a family of 7 and was of farmer inheritance. After his education, he worked in different dairies and finally started work at Mustad food article production in Oslo were he eventially becomes chief of production. In the beginning of the 1980 he retired and settled down as a pensioner in the inland of Norway.

Arne was a very optimistic, positive, socially out-turned, warm and hospitable man.
